It all started when...
On July 4th, 2008, Ken sat on a curb on Main Street in Brattleboro, Vermont to watch the Independence Day Parade (6 firetrucks and a drag queen...seriously). A small group was handing out fliers about the local radio station and Ken thought, "Hey, there should be a gay show." And "This Show is So Gay" was born.
Eight years later, and the goal is as it has ever been: to feature individuals using their voices in their own unique way to make a difference for their LGBTQ and Ally brothers and sisters. Ken has interviewed over 500 guests ranging from presidential candidates to singer-songwriters to civil rights champions to champions of drag. 375+ episodes later and our rallying cry remains the same: why be gay, when you can be SO gay?!?
